Dennis Yost of Dennis Yost & the Classics IV has died. So sorry to hear about him & so sad how his later yrs were with him being sick & not being able to use the Classics IV name.
Sadly it's being done to other 60's & 70's groups like the real version of the British group Edison Lighthouse who did Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes. The real Edison Lighthouse are using the name Original Edison Lighthouse because there are some imposter groups out there pretending to be them. The inposters licensed out the name from the songwriters of Rosemary. All in the name of money & greed. The originals are singing in Cornwall England wherever that is doing gigs there. & There are several sets of imposters doing gigs in England & here in the US. That really ticks me off. After the group broke up, the songwriters wanting to keep the song live put together a new version of Edison Lighthouse with imposters in it. They did a video of Rosemary lipsynching to the real ones a yr or so after the song was out & it's on Youtube.
Prayers for the family. Amen...
