Both these are excellent reading...
Written By Jan from My Starsky and Hutch Yahoo Group:
Let me start off by saying, I'm a Christian.
It's about more than being moral. It's about being saved and
spending eternity with the Lord. I spent most of my life as a moral person, but I would have ended up in hell with the worse criminals had I died that way.
I identify myself as Christian first because that's how I proritize
my life. Some identify themselves by race, physical capabilities,
job titles, etc. Everything I am, will be, hope to be, is all from
God. I proudly wear that title on my sleeve because every decision
in my life is based on it. I've lost sells, jobs, boyfriends,
because of it.
I say to all, call yourself a blond if that's the most important
thing in your life. If you feel your life has been enhanced by it,
if you feel that's all you are, if you feel you got that job,
boyfriend, etc from being blonde.
I used to be blonde now I'm not. I used to wear a size 3 shoe, now
I'm fat and my size 3 is no more. I used to be tall, but I stopped
growing and everyone else kept going so now I'm short. Things have
changed in my life, but I'll be a Christian in this life and the
next.

SOMEBODY'S RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!
One Nation, "Under God".
One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a
Classroom. The teacher was going to explain
Evolution to the children. The teacher asked
A little boy: Tommy do you see the tree
Outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass
Outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see
If you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes
Later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God up there?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see
God because he isn't there. Possibly he just
Doesn't exist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the
Boy some questions.
The teacher agreed and the little girl asked
The boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
Outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass
Outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
Teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we
Were taught today in school, she possibly
May not even have one!

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT"
II CORINTHIANS 5:7
When we are grateful for the good we already have,
we attract more good into our life.
On the other hand, when we are ungrateful, we tend to shut ourselves off from the good we might otherwise experience.
