Sun was church. I learned alot. My mom had a cold so my folks didn't go to church. So I didn't get to eat dinner with them like I usually do on Sunday. Oh well I had Mike as my dinner companion. He usually stays home & watches the ballgames after I take him home from church. I don't think it killed him to miss part of the game lol. We ate at Huddle House & ran into Debbies friends Francis & Harold, and also Mrs Mcleod & a lady from Bethel chapel that was with her. When I talked to Debbie on the phone later I told her about seeing Francis & Harold. She already knew lol. Word gets around fast here in the hinterlands lol.
At church last nite they had an Independant Baptist preacher doing the family conference (revival) meetings that they're having this week. He said in his sermon folks should be talking about stuff like ballgames in church. Well after church Mike said hi to this guy at church who likes the ballgames like Mike does. He had on a shirt with a ball team on it. Mike said I like your shirt. Next thing ya know they are talking about the ball teams lol. I said you better hope the preacher doesn't hear ya. LOL Too funny. Well I'm sure the preacher will survive our presbyterian church lol.
Well I better get offa this thing & back to bed! I have a busy week with church, getting groceries, going to Arlo 2 nites in a row up in Alexandria, VA. Till my next post kids... :)
P.S Don't forget to vote conservative on Tues. We can't let the liberals come in & take away our Christian values...
