~WHERE COULD WE GO BUT TO THE LORD?~

....."For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Have you ever wondered how people who do not have the Lord in their
life face problems, trials, or sorrows? Many do not have the comfort we
know as God's children. Some people always seem to be at "wit's
end corner ." When they realize there is a place of refuge and accept
the invitation to abide in Christ, they can find help and hope in Jesus.

We all need the Lord while living here below and find He is always there.
His Words bring hope, help, joy, love, and new life. God's Word is the
"power of God unto salvation." When lost sinners hear the call of
God and about His amazing grace, they can receive God's greatest gift..
Only then are they able to worship God in 'spirit and in truth' as He desires.
The lost may come to us for help, but only when we point them to God
and the gospel, will they receive true wholeness He desires to give them.

If we did not have the Lord to look to, we would be without the help we
need to make it through this life. We can go to others for help, who
may listen to our problems, but no one will ever care for us like Jesus.
There is no one who will listen to our every care who can give us exactly
the right words and answers to our problems. Only Jesus is the "Rock"
where we can run to be secure and safe from the storms of life.
Only He is a "Miracle working God" who is the same yesterday,
today, and forever. He still parts the troubled waters in this world
to see His children through.

There is no other like our Lord, and no greater friend who will
keep us safe in Him. What great joy we have by knowing the
Savior, who is Lord of our lives. When we face temptations and trials,
Jesus has provided a way of escape. When we are afflicted, He is
our Healer and Help. When we need a refuge for our souls, He
is always there. We can find all we need in Jesus, if we only trust
and lean on Him. I'm proud to be a part of a church which teaches
this truth, and admonishes others to have the attributes of Christ,
shun sin, and seek the Savior. Many have strayed from the true
message of the Lord, and look to all other sources for their answers..

When we come to the end of life's journey, we have one who will
be waiting with outstretched arms to welcome us to our heavenly
home. Can you imagine walking the streets of gold one day with our
Blessed Lord and being reunited with loved ones and friends gone on
before us? We have this promise and a blessed hope that can be found
only in the Lord Jesus Christ. Where else could we go for this
blessed assurance and help? "Let Go and Let God" is more than
just a saying, it is the way to have true victory in Jesus!

~WE HAVE HOPE IN HIM~

Without God we'd have no hope
There is no one else who is a refuge for our soul,
We find salvation and help in Jesus Christ our Lord,
His love for us is the greatest story ever told.

In all of life's problems
and cares that come our way
We have hope if we lean on Jesus
He is the one we can trust in each day,

Without Him we would be lost,
we would be dying in our sin
With Him, we have salvation and hope
He has promised to be with us until the end.

Our hearts are filled with thanksgiving
for His great joy and peace,
